Cooking & Usage
Heat oil or ghee in a pressure cooker, sauté the included whole spice mix (~1 min at low flame).
Add 500 g of cleaned chicken (or precooked mutton) or 300 g vegetables; sauté for ~2 min, then stir in the biryani masala paste and cook until oil separates (~5 min).
Add the Seeraga Samba rice (365 g) and pour in ~450–500 ml water; cook on medium for ~3 min.
Pressure cook until 2 whistles, then layer with ghee and allow it to rest (“dum”) before serving. Expect to yield around 1 kg of fragrant biryani—enough for 4–5 servings.
